Bas is a visual communication app designed for people with aphasia — a condition that affects the ability to read, write, and speak. It uses images, icons, and colors instead of text to help users express what they want, starting with food and everyday needs.
Tap the camera button at the bottom of the screen and select "Menu". Take a clear photo of the restaurant menu, and Bas will identify the items and generate images for each one.
After selecting the items you want, tap the display mode button. This shows your selections in a clear, text-based format that the waiter can read.
You can delete your account from the Settings screen in the app. This will permanently remove all your data from our servers.
